Thea Galenes, MFA

Thea Galenes joined Global Wealth Advisors in 2023 as a marketing coordinator in our San Antonio, Texas office. As a confident writer and editor, her primary focus is content development for the blog, social media, and newsletter. As part of the communications department, she also coordinates the various charitable events and client appreciation activities as well as other special projects. She is also involved with the Sunshine Committee, which manages the firm’s internal celebrations.

Previously, Thea served as an administrative assistant for Business Financial Group (BFG) in their corporate retirement services department. Prior to BFG, Thea spent nearly a decade working as a managing editor at a Florida-based publishing company that provides communications publications for business trade associations. She then spent seven years living in Germany before moving to San Antonio.

Thea completed her undergraduate studies in Virginia, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in English. She continued her studies, attending the University of Florida, where she received a Master of Fine Arts in poetry. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her daughter.
