We follow a dynamic planning approach when meeting someone for the first time. We call it the 3P Approach©. This proprietary process adheres to the Certified Financial Planner™ practice standards and relies on a partnership philosophy that follows a series of six steps which guide us both through creating your unique plan.
From our first meeting where we use the opportunity to learn about each other before entering into a partnership, to implementing your plan and watching it take flight, we focus on the relationship and ensure it is a good fit for both of us. That’s because our approach is designed so that clients never outgrow a stagnant plan. Rather, the plan continues to evolve as their lives advance.

Our financial advisors work with your other advisors to form a trusted team that works cohesively. Together, we implement an investment and tax reduction strategy. Then as each target is met, we help protect your portfolio from potential hazards. To ensure you stay on track, we work to manage your fears and natural responses to them.

In our first visit, we will have a mutual evaluation, to determine if and how our services will best fit your needs and objectives. We work for a select clientele who are driven to reach their goals, and who value advice and are fun to work with.
During this no-cost consultation no decisions will be made. We won’t be asking you to bring your financial documents with you, instead we spend the time discussing your situation and our services to ensure your financial profile fits what we do best.
In this meeting or the next, we will quote a fee, based upon the anticipated time and complexity of your financial situation. We believe that knowing the total cost up front allows us both the freedom to work through the planning process. It also allows clients to contact and meet with us without the pressure of unanticipated fees.

As part of our unique 3P Approach©, we take time to assess all that we have learned about each other during the first discovery meeting. We carefully consider your situation to determine if there is a good fit with our philosophy and approach.
We only take on a handful of clients each year and it is really important to us that we can both see a long-term relationship forming.

Our goal during this crucial fact-finding period is to step into your financial shoes so we can begin to understand your thought processes. During a second meeting, we discuss your goals, views, attitudes, concerns and current financial situation, which become the basis for a financial model.
An important aspect of discovery is understanding behavioral management, which will play a huge role in the likelihood of reaching your goals. Also in this meeting, we review the engagement proposal, which outlines the work we will do together over the next 12-months.

In this step, we provide a detailed analysis of your situation, trying on a multitude of ideas and modeling “what-if’s” to determine the best path to reach your desired outcome. Working with some of the brightest minds in the planning industry, we will do an exhaustive search to find the solutions that make the most sense for you.
During our third meeting, we present a plan unique to your situation which outlines the logical progression of objectives, observations and recommendations. With you the CEO, and us acting as your CFO, we dissect the pros and cons of each strategy through an economic model to help you understand their impact, so you are able to make an informed decision.

At this stage, the team aspect of the planning process is fully realized as we work with your other advisors and continually act as a key to the marketplace on your behalf.
