Tom was born and raised in Chatham, NJ where he graduated from Chatham High School.  He grew up playing ice hockey and has three younger brothers who all played, one of which is in the NHL. He went on to graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.

Tom has called Houston home since 2012 and, like many other transplants, came to Texas as soon as he could. He currently resides in Downtown Houston and his hobbies include hockey, golf, CrossFit, running, trying new restaurants in town and traveling.

Tom joined Global Wealth Advisors (GWA) in 2018 and became a managing partner in 2021. He serves as our host of Your Money Momentum, a GWA podcast on financially related topics. He also serves as host of the Ask Tom Anything Facebook page, a GWA program sharing video updates, commentary on hot topics, and fielding questions.

Tom started his finance career at AXA Distributors where he was responsible for helping advisors guide and educate their clients about retirement income through a variety of strategies, such as variable and fixed annuities. He then went on to PGIM Investments where he spent his time building investment portfolios made up of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and SMA’s.

Tom holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification which is awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He also earned the Climate Change and Investment Academy Certificate through a partnership between Columbia University’s Earth Institute and Alliance Bernstein. Additionally, he holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 and 66 securities registrations with Commonwealth Financial Network®, Member FINRA/SIPC, a Registered Investment Advisor. His area of focus is targeted fixed income, equities, real estate and alternative investments.
