Rolando Rodriguez

Rolando Cavazos Rodriguez is a lifelong resident of McAllen, Texas which is an area rich in Hispanic culture and tradition located in the Rio Grande Valley. Bringing with him years of client relationship experience, he joined Global Wealth Advisors in 2024 as a wealth management assistant in the San Antonio office.

Rolando began his career in medical marketing and business development in 2001, after graduating from The University of Texas Pan-American. His specialty was developing medical start-up clinics and promoting the use and sales of diagnostic imaging services. His experience in the medical field also includes working in an executive capacity at one of the country’s largest physician-owned hospital systems.

Rolando was introduced to the financial services industry in 2021 and moved into a retirement specialist role with a focus on employer-sponsored 401(k) plans. Since then, he has enjoyed building client relationships, and the process of educating people and preparing them to meet their retirement goals. To become a more well-rounded resource for existing, and potential clients, he shifted his focus by actively pursuing securities licensing. He believes this will provide an extra benefit toward helping people reach their financial dreams.

As the proud father of three children, in his personal time, Rolando enjoys spending time with his family and traveling with his wife, two sons, and daughter. As an avid runner, he loves to compete in races ranging in distance from 5K to full marathons. One of his bucket list goals is to qualify to run the Boston Marathon.
