Kamryn Markus is a native Texan, born and raised in Boerne, Texas. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University where she participated in their nationally recognized Personal Financial Planning (PFP) program. During her junior year, she was one of three students invited to represent the PFP program at the Charles Schwab Impact National Conference. She was also one of just six students in the program to receive an invitation to the Commonwealth Financial Network National Conference, where she impressed Global Wealth Advisors’ partners who were also in attendance.
Kamryn became an intern for Global Wealth Advisors in 2020. After graduation, she continued as a paraplanner in the Lewisville office. She has been grateful for the opportunity to learn from a challenging, growth-oriented organization while continuing to build her financial planning foundation. She credits her past work experience in the family’s small business as helping her develop effective communication and teamwork skills.
As an aspiring financial professional, Kamryn’s goal is to apply her skills, experience, and education toward building relationships and making a positive impact on her community. In her free time, you can find Kamryn and her husband spending time with family and friends, exploring local eateries and coffee shops, or enjoying time outdoors in the Dallas Fort Worth area.
