Veteran Suicide Prevention 2021

November, 2021
Dean Elliott Participates in CHAD1000X for veteran suicide prevention with three men ready to exercise.

As part of veteran suicide prevention, Sara Wilkinson and GORUCK host the hero workout CHAD1000X in honor of her Navy SEAL husband Chad Wilkinson, who took his life on October 29, 2018 due to the effects of numerous deployments, several traumatic brain injuries, blast wave injuries, and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

The Goal

The nonprofit’s goal is to raise awareness and funds for the veteran suicide epidemic and to honor Chad’s life by creating a legacy that provides support to the Navy SEAL Foundation and other veteran health initiatives.

Global Wealth Advisors’ Managing Partner Dean Elliott Participates

The objective of this program is to perform 1,000 step-ups individually, with a partner, or as a team. Held between November 5th and the 13th, spanning Veteran’s Day, the event encompasses virtual and live events. The organization encourages people to NOT go it alone, instead to reach out to their friends during times of need. This year, GWA’s Managing Partner Dean Elliott participated in the CHAD1000X workout challenge with a couple friends.
